MY DAILY SKIN CARE ROUTINE (GT COSMETICS, KOJIE SAN & BENZAC) OILY T-ZONE AND ACNE PROBLEMS

Hello there! This is going  to be my first ever skin care post.  I am a bit hesitant to post this but here I am anyway.  I have been suffering from acne since I was 16. I remember it started when my classmates and I shared using this cheek and lip tint that we bought on  Avon. It was simple zits there and here, to my pimples becoming residents in my forehead. Heck, when I was 16 I didn't mind getting those breakouts. People keeps on telling me its normal and it will go away. And... they are all wrong.

FIRST YEAR OF COLLEGE
MOM WAS STILL ALIVE

So from that stage, I used a lot of different soaps, some helped lessen the breakouts but it is still there. Here comes college and my simple breakouts became acne. It was in my 2nd year in college when everything started, my forehead residents moved to my cheeks and made my nose and chin their tourist destination popping when my time of the month visits me.

From that time I was still a nuisance with the thing called PROPER SKIN CARE ROUTINE and I still relied with soaps (lol!). And so, my aunt introduced me to this facial centers.
CHEAP FACIAL CENTERS, NO DOCTORS OR EXPERT DERMATOLOGISTS JUST HIRED PIMPLE POPPERS.

And it was one of the worst decision I ever made. I undergo facials every once a week. The "pimple poppers" said they had training but I doubt it if the training came from reputable dermatologists and if they really know the fuck they're doing. All I know is that every pimple they saw they pops it. Please don't make the same mistakes that I made!

The pimples didn't go away and it worsen. From mild it became very moderate and worse it left a lot of pimple marks like a lot! That's the time I seek the help of dermatologists. He was very known here in Iloilo and I admit he helped me so much!

The problem was he was very expensive. His soap costs Php. 150. 00 ($3) for a 100g and it will last you probably two weeks of use since he wants you to wash your face 3x a day. The price of his skin care varies on what medicine he will give to you and every 10ml of his skin care costs you Php.200.00 ($4) and you will fucking use it within a week. There was this drying lotion he gave me that costs around Php. 400.00 ($8) and it was a freaking small bottle. He required me to have my facial care with him and it costs Php. 1000.00 ($20) every sessions twice a month. $1=Php.50

I admit he was really a great help. He did somehow cleared my complexion but he was expensive and I had been trusting him for more than 6 mos and the results are very slow. I was spending more than Php. 5,000 ( $100) at that time but I didn't bother. He was great! But then,  I got pregnant.

God knows how bad my acne was when I got pregnant. It was so worse. It was so severe that I have back acne, shoulder acne, chest acne.. IT WAS FUCKING EVERYWHERE!!! And I was so scared to try anything that may harm Zavi at that time. I only used Dove Soap.. No toner, moisturizer or anything just back to SOAP again!

After I gave birth, I continued breastfeeding and my acne was still so severe. I still didn't use anything but Dove Soap.

SO FAST FORWARD

Here  are  the  skin  care  routine that   I  use everyday.
I  have been doing this regimen for over  two weeks now from morning to night.

So I start my skin care routine with St. Ives Apricot Scrub. I have seen a lot of good reviews with this baby and it had been tested and proven that it is a nice product. I did my research first and most of the skin care hacks  I learned was when you have an oily t-zone and has severe acne you must exfoliate. I use this to remove blackheads, whiteheads and remove some particles left in my face.

After using  St. Ives I continue using this Kojic  Soap that had been proven to remove dirt and residues. It helps remove pimples, stretchmarks and other skin problems. It has a whitening effect too! I used to use this and it was really effective. I use this all over my body and within weeks of using it did whiten my complexion.

KOJIE SAN SKIN LIGHTENING SOAP.

As for my toner I stick using Kojie San Toner. It has a mild fragrance and it promises dual action. A cleanser and toner. It cleanses and moisturizes skin. It is made of Ginseng extracts and Rose Hip Oil.
I have been using this for a month and I am waiting for its effects but it does cleanse my face thoroughly. It costs Php.80.00.

Since I still suffer from acne I have read a lot of promising reviews from different people from different places in the world that had helped clear their complexion by using Benzac.

Benzoyl Peroxide is used to treat acne. It works by killing the bacteria that cause acne, drying the acne pimples, and helping the skin to peel. I added this cream in my regimen last  November 3. It says it can dry pimples out within 48 hours. Since my period came yesterday, my hormones are exploding too causing for me to break out in my T-zone (this happens every month).

And I swear it is really effective! I will post a different review of Benzac in the coming days. I have prepared some before and after photos and I will save it to a different blog.

For my morning routine, I use this GT moisturizing cream.
It costs almost  Php. 200.00 but it is all worth it.  It helps whiten the face, it moisturizes and it has SPF 60 that protects you from harmful rays!

I use this as my foundation base too!  I haven't really tested its effects yet since I've been using this for almost a week now.  But lets see, GT Cosmetics has a triumphant release in the market since a lot are using this right now.
But I am going to stick with this since its an all in one product!
I am going to post a blog for this too soon!

And last, this had helped me so much for a  short period of time  I used this product. A zit popped? Apply this and expect the pimple to go away the next day !

To be honest, I have seen our helper use this since 2014. I was so scared to use this since their face was always reddish. They use this every night, they apply a thin layer of this product. They have LOTS  of "pekas " before and I  guess it was very hard to remove but they continued to use this and their complexion really changed!

Gone the big "pekas " on their faces and redness.. Left are a very clean and nice face! They look even younger than their age!

I use this every other day because it has a strong pigment. If you over use this chances are your skin will peel a lot and it will be reddish. Avoid the harmful rays and use this at night only since it is a  Bleaching  Cream.  The Company advised to use this for three consecutive days and then stop then continue  again the following week but saw some reviews they use this every night and even our helpers use this every night  and even the sales lady at SM!

So here you go people! These are my Skin Care Routine!
I will give an update with each item in a different blog post and I will give my reviews too soon!
