Tour, Tour, and Tour Tooshie!

I stared for my lappy for hours again, trying to figure out where the heck should I begin in this entry I have. You see I'm trying to make this post a formal one but i just can't because I just end up typing the way I used to.

This blog post of mine will be also my project for my Transportation Management subject so yeah. (I don't know what to saaaay!)

Well maybe I should start on how I prepared everything about before the tour. :)

We were required to have an executive attire for the training so we all panicked on where to buy, but lucky me, I just spent for about Php.270 for my suit than to others who spent a thousand for the attire. I was willing to buy worth thousand of that suit but my friend gave me an advice that I should visit an Ukay-ukay store first and I actually did that's why I only spent less.

So this is how my executive suit looks like. Sorry for the haggard and flustered face because I was too damn tired that time. It was taken inside the airport while we are all waiting for our trip way back home in Iloilo.

TRAVEL TIP: When you are travelling for lets say, just for three days, just bring enough clothes for that days and not the whole bunch of your closet because, I swear, you won't wear everything of those within 3 freakin' days. I mean, just bring 1 formal attire, Not a gown or anything but something that you can pull out when it comes to unexpected event. Dress will do! Bring also tees atleast 3 and it should be a comfy one! Bring pants, usually I bring 2 pair of pants everytime I travel, 1 maong pants and 1 colored pants. I also bring shorts, I really love short shorts that's why I always bring one whenever I'm out of town or will just spend a night outside home, you see, you can just put it on and viola! Well, I also bring a Gimik outfit. (Hihi!) And don't forget the sleepwear! I just bring 1 sleepwear and i just used it every night, its not smelly or something because I make it a habit that I should take a half bath before going to sleep, Sooo! And bring all the beauty regimens you need, all the toiletries, underwear and of course! FOOD . You don't want to wake up at midnight without food on the fridge right?

To make thing easier for you make a to-do lists or check-lists of the things you need to buy and bring so that you won't forget something..

And before this entry of mine divert to another topic again, I will start now the countdown (Chos!) I will start from Day 1 up to the last Day.

Day 1:
4:00 AM     - I started my day by leaving WVSU Campus (my school) for Iloilo Int'l Airport
6:20 AM     - We departed to Manila and just an hour we safely landed in NAIA
7:20 AM     - We had our breakfast at ChowKing
9:00 AM     - We visited the Department of Tourism
11:00 AM   - We had our lunch at Sir boy's Republique in Quezon City
12:30 PM    - We went to LRT Office to have a lecture/tour around their facilities
02:30 PM    - We experienced riding in a LRT. It was fun!

This picture was taken inside Iloilo Int'l Airport. We were waiting for our flight bound to Manila that's why my friends and I decided to have some sort of Photo Shoot. Aww, I really love this girl friends of mine! And we call ourselves (Hashtag) #PENCILHEADS.

I always think what the hell happened why this crazy girls became my super-love girl buddies, you see, we are really different from each other, we don't have the same genres, we like different things, some of them are really dedicate to their studies, some are not and it includes me! But, at the end of the day, I realize the reasons why I stayed with them through the bad times and all the good stuffs.

I can show the real me to them. (I know its Gasgas already!) They know the real me, not totally but they understand me, they know where and when to uplift me, and to stop and laugh whenever I am clumsy or having tantrums (**Insert sobs!) . Oh geez, if they will ever read this, I am 100% sure they'll all laugh because of cheesiness!

So here are the pics :)

THE LRT ESCAPADES

Quick view about LRT here in the Philippines:

The Manila Light Rail Transit System, popularly known as the LRT, is a metropolitan rail system serving the Metro Manila area in the Philippines. Although referred to as a light rail system because it originally used light rail vehicles, it is more of a rapid transit (metro) system, such as high passenger throughput, exclusive right-of-way and later use of full metro rolling stock. The LRT is operated by the Light Rail Transit Authority (LRTA), a government-owned and controlled corporation under the authority of the Department of Transportation and Communications(DOTC). Quick and inexpensive to ride, the LRT serves 2.1 million passengers each day. Its 31 stations along over 31 kilometers (19 mi) of mostly elevated track form two lines.

All thanks to Mr. Google and especially to Mrs. Wikipedia for the meanings :)

\

This place is where they operate and watch everything to give a safe trip toall the passengers who are riding on the train.

This is where they maintain the quality and store the train. its a big place and indeed clean. I never thought that managing a transit must be this so hard and organized.

Well, I can proudly say that the LRT passed the Int'l standard, for me. I mean, see the LCD screens they had put to ensure that the passengers have the ideas to where and what to ride. It is clean, there are CCTV's around, security officers are roaming around and it is really accommodating to those person who are in a hurry, or doesn't want to be trapped in a traffic and especially to the tourists.

I really enjoyed the time we spent just riding on the LRT. I got the chance to have some insights about the transportation here in the Philippines and also, I got to study different kinds of people while on the train. I mean, I got to see their emotions, some were very tired to the point that they are closing their eyes, some were bored, others was occupied by something on their thoughts and so on..

It was somewhat peak hours the time we had our LRT moment tht's why the whole duration of the ride, I was standing. If I ever get to see\at, it was just in a fleeting moments.

So sorry for the very tired face, you see, I was too damn tired.

Below were my classmates, Meryll, Jackie, Athena, Elmie, and Phyle.

We were very noisy to the point that the other passengers keep on looking at us. Some maybe understands what we are saying because they laughed also when we joked around.

Here with me is Bleesy :)

There were lots of passengers there that's why its a bit crowded and hot.

After the ride, we all went back to the bus and proceeded to where we will have our dinner. it was in a Chinese restaurant and I swear the food was a bit mouth-watering. It was along Roxas Blvd. and I forgot about its name. You see I am a birdbrain in memorizing stuffs.

Day 2:

5:00 AM     - Wake Up Call
6:00 AM     - Breakfast
8:00 AM     - Job Orientation Seminar for Flight Cabin Crew
6:00 PM     - Dinner
7:00 PM     - Star City

Who's excited for the flight Cabin Crew Training?! WHO IS EXCITED TO BECOME A FLIGHT CABIN CREW?! Well, its ME. Me...Me....Me.... and ME....

Who wouldn't? All of us was very excited for the training! Well, we are all nervous and we all wanted to make an expression, a good expression to Wings Institute of Global Careers Inc.

Its a bit hard putting on my suit because you need to hook something on it.

I had no idea that my classmate Jeannine was taking a picture of me while I'm arranging my suit.

And darn, Yes!
Am I qualified to be the next Maya? :P

We had a make up tutorial, and it ends up a helluva shit because I am not good in putting make up on my face. Others were good, well others look fine and some ended not good.

We've got some techniques about the things you need to do when you're applying make-up.
We haven't got that much time though and we were in a hurry so we end up in a mess.

After that we had a lecture about Aviation. The types of planes, how should we speak, the proper things to do, principles and procedures and a lot more.

After the Training we all headed to STAR CITY (((:

As far as I can remember the last time I've been to Star city was when I was 7 years old and almost 12 years had passed. Star City was fun, but Enchanted Kingdom was a lot more fun!

Lucky us, there are not that much customers the time we went to Star City that's why I got to ride in every rides I wanted to ride.

I asked a guy if he could take us some pictures, gladly he did. We all had our good time that night. I even got to ride to one of their extremest ride they have. And I was damn happy because I got to fulfill something I wanna do on my bucket list.

We ride in different rides and well, it was indeed fun!

Taken inside a pirate Ship. We decided to ride on it. We thought its kinda thrilling but it was all about the life of Pirates and our Ancestors.

We went inside their horror houses. It wasn't as scary as I've thought but you can't really stop from screaming because of your companions. There came a point that I even left my shoe inside the horror house and I got lots of bruises!

And most memorable thing I did was when I climbed the inflatable wall. (Haha!)
I will surely make a new blogpost about my experiences when doing this but I will give you some glimpse.

It was really fun, I mean, I was very excited to do this but when i was on top and i looked down I wasn't ready what to do right at that moment, especially when our time was up and the guys who are wearing yellow told us to jump. Damn! That was one of the hardest decision I made. I have fear of heights but still I decided to pursue what i want.

And thanks to my sweaty hand because I wasn't prepared when i slipped and I fell down.
But after that I was really really happy that I can no longer stop my laughter.

So, Day 2 has ended..
See you tomorrow maybe after I finished everything!
