Typhoon Haiyan (Yolanda)

What more can I say about the devastation brought by this fcking typhoon in my country? Haiyan hit the Philippines last Nov. 8, 2013 leaving cries of suffering for the whole nation, homeless Filipinos, a total wipe out at its wake.

As what Wiki says, Typhoon Yolanda (Int'l name Haiyan) was the 2nd deadliest typhoon in Philippine history killing approximately 2,500 people and left destructions in the  Central part of the Philippines.

This blog post of mine will be all about the devastation brought by the typhoon. This will somehow be in TagLish so that I can show what I truly feel.

Honestly, I pity my countrymen who were the victim of the typhoon and my heart is wrenching and I can't stop myself from crying everytime the news flashes how pitiful they are getting there.

Yung parang, sa isang snap lang ng fingers nagbago na lahat. And now you can see and hear the maddening despair of the people who were affected.

Last month we also experience an erathquake who left Bohol and Cebu in devastation also and here again, three weeks after we experienced Typhoon.

I actually experienced how wicked Haiyan is. Our town was affected by the typhoon and lots of trees and houses was destroyed. And, there I thought, "Grabe, ibang klase to' "

And after a few days after the devastation of Haiyan, makikita natin ang nakaka awang sitwasyon ng taga Tacloban, the dead scattered everywhere, total blackout, crying Filipino, people in chaos to find food.

I had read an article saying that, the most affected place by the typhoon became a Zombieland as if people there were zombies and trying to find food and water to eased their thirst and hungry stomach.

And then makikita mo sa news Int'l na pinapakita nila ang totoong nangyayari doon sa Tacloban where people was crying, hospital closed and number of dead increases.

Honestly? Nakakasakit, nakaka AWA, nakaka Takot, nakakapang Lumo, nakaka Galit and every king of emotions, you can actually feel if you see your countrymen suffering.

Nakakasakit kasi, Philippines is a poor country yet we experienced a tragedy but as what others say, Everything Happens for a Reason and God decided to challenge Filipinos because He know that Filipinos can carry the burden, can accept the trials with a smile upon their faces, that we will just wipe off the dirt in our shirt, look around, shook our heads and smile.

AWA, PITY who wouldn't feel that way? I am so lucky that I can eat more than 4 times a day and I have my supplements with me than those who are victims of the typhoon. I wonder if they ate lunch already or if they still trying to find food. Pity because other country pity us also. Down na nga kami pina0-down pa, meron pa bang mas bababa diyan?

Fear - Fear because what will happen next to those who are affected? To those kids who lose their Parents? How will they stand again? How will we stand again? Fear that another breakout will come and kill other people. You see, people already experience Malaria, Vomiting because of lack of food, dirty places and lots of dead? Ano na naman kayang sakit ang dadapo sa kanila dahil ngayon nahaharap sila sa lahat ng sakit, lahat ng pwedeng mangyari and I am afraid that the death toll will increase pa.

LUMO  - Those places who are affected by the typhoon is a places with lots of Tourism Attractions and then now you can't even see those attractions anymore. How will people cope up if their main way of surviving was taken by Haiyan? Paano pa sila magiging tulad ng dati kung ang mga nakasanayan nila ay wala na?

and Lastly,

Angry / MAD - And why? Blame it to a very sloooooooooooooooow response of our Gov't to those in need. MAD because it had been days yet lots of people was still suffering from hunger and thirst. Lots of people doesn't have a place to stay, lots of dead people was still scattered in the ground.

PNOY! ANONG GANAP MO? KERENGKENG LANG BA?! TINGNAN MO ANONG NANGYAYARI SA KABABAYAN MO. WAG YUNG PURO KA PANINISI AT UTOS NG UTOS. GAWA GAWA DIN PAG MAY TIME!

I hate the President. -_-

Bakit pa natin itatago sa mamayan ang nakakalumong nangyayari ngayon sa bansa natin, particular in those places who was affected by the typhoon?

Urgh. Hindi lamang ako nag-iisa sa nararamdaman ko ngayon kasi marami rin yung nakakakita at nakakarinig ng totoong nagyayari and the truth is MABAGAL ANG PAGDALA NG TULONG SA MGA NAAPEKTUHAN NG BAGYO.

lets not blame others about this mess, its a natural calamity and we cannot blame God why this thing happened and the least we can do right now is to help those who are in need of our help, those who are crying for food, shelter , love and of course prayers.

If only I can fly to Tacloban or in those places affected by the typhoon, I will surely go just to witness how devastating their life there and i will give everything I have to help them.

I already did my share. I donated my old clothes and this Saturday I am planning on a voluntary deed to repack foods to those who are affected.

But despite of all the tragedy we had. The earthquake, the typhoon, the corruption, and everything happened in my country, we Filipinos still manage to stand up, we did bend like a pliant bamboo but expect us to stand again with those smiles upon our faces and we will say #LapanPilipinas :)
